Anyone interested in volunteering at the Ronald McDonald House of New York should contact the Volunteer Department at (212) 639-0180, and request a volunteer application packet.
Once you have filled out the application, return it to the Director of Volunteer Services at: Ronald McDonald House of NY 405 East 73rd Street, New York, NY 10021. The volunteer packet includes a two sided application and a form you give to your doctor to fill out, sign and return to the Director of Volunteer Services. You must also include your resume and cover letter.
We receive hundreds of applications for volunteering every year and we make every effort to review and get back with each applicant. If you are called for to attend one of the three volunteer orientations you will have the opportunity to learn more about the House, the services we offer and the open volunteer positions. This may be followed by a tour of the House and an interview.
When a volunteer job match is made, you will be given an extended tour of the facility and meet with your staff/volunteer supervisor. You will review the Volunteer Agreement, sign permission for us to do a criminal background check and review your schedule.
Volunteers are very important to the life and work of Ronald McDonald House. As a volunteer you will be guided and supported throughout your time at the Ronald McDonald House. We look forward to working with you.
